ARH 392: S/T: History Of Graphic Design 3 credits Graphic design has its own history within the larger context of 19th and 20th century art history. This course examines the origins of the discipline and traces its development up to the present. Students learn to recognize and understand the major historical styles of type design, illustration, and layout.
