Non-Credit Students in Art
University College has partnered with the Department of Art and Art History to offer non-credit art courses at Adelphi University’s art studio classrooms.  Students register for these courses on a non-credit basis and study alongside graduate degree students in beautiful new studio space.  Non-credit students can study painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography and more.  Students are taught by Adelphi University Department of Art and Art History faculty who are active artists and have years of teaching experience.

Courses run weeknights for 15 weeks and include 45 hours of classroom instruction.  Fees include instruction only—supplies and materials must be purchased separately and vary course to course.  Faculty will give instruction on purchasing materials during the first night of the course.  All non-credit students will not receive grades and course work cannot be converted to credit course work at any time in the future.

Non-credit course registration open to the public, no prior art experience necessary to register.  Registration for non-credit students is limited and open only as long as space is available.

• Students must be registered with full payment two working days prior to course start date. 
• Art supplies, materials and textbooks are NOT included in the registration fee.  Information on what and where to buy supplies materials and fees will be provided by the instructor on the first night of class.
