MUH 255: Music, Culture,And Society: Workshop On Major Traditions 3 credits This interactive and introductory course to the practice of major musical traditions in the world focuses on acquaintance with instruments and exemplary repertoire. The course also involves student improvisation. Ability to read music is not required as the practice of music will be taught orally/aurally.
