BIO 131: S/T: Microbes And Society

Non-biology majors will learn general principles of biology through hands-on laboratory and lecture investigation of the role of microbes in human health and disease, biotechnology, food production and the nutrient cycle. Students will learn how science explains and predicts issues related to bioterrorism, infection, antibiotic resistance, and environmental sciences.
