BIO 209: Emerging Trends In Genetics 2 credits Nursing students will be introduced to genetics and genomics, providing a foundation of the key concepts in these areas including the nature of the gene and the causes and patterns of inheritance of genetic disorders, together with the ethical issues faced by medical professionals in genetics.
