CHE 100: Chemistry Modern Society 3 credits Examine contemporary understanding of some major modern environmental issues from a chemistry perspective. Energy usage and supplies, global warming, nutrition and health, and genetic engineering are included. There is no laboratory. This course cannot be used by science majors to satisfy a chemistry requirement.
