CHE 572: Biochemistry II 4 credits Explore cell metabolism investigating degradative and biosynthetic pathways of carbohydrates, lipids, and amino acids. Study regulatory and high phosphate energy metabolism, nucleic acids and protein biosynthesis. Laboratory includes isolation and characterization of proteins and nucleic acids and enzyme kinetics. There are three class periods and one laboratory period a week.
