ENG 320: Medieval Literature 3 credits This is a study of Old and Middle English literature and Continental literature to 1500. We will read such works as The Consolation of Philosophy, Beowulf, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, The Romance of the Rose in modern English versions and translations.
