ENG 651: Language In The Mind, Literature And Culture 4 credits This course draws from the philosophy of language and from research in cognitive linguistics to provide readers and writers of literature with a deeper understanding of their native language and of the way grammar, syntax, figures of speech, and narrative strategies create meaning.
