ENV 490: S/T: Capstone: Environmental Ethics 3 credits Examine humanity’s understanding of nature in a global context and our obligations to leave some of nature’s resources to posterity. Classical essays by major figures in ecological literature will be analyzed. Our isolation from nature, roles of religious traditions and over dependence on technology will be major themes.
