The European Studies minor seeks to promote understanding and appreciation of the history, politics, literature, language, economics and culture of Europe. The minor provides a foundation for understanding the historical evolution of Europe as well as contemporary socio-political developments.

The language component introduces students to the linguistic richness of Europe while the elective courses enable students to explore European culture, literature, philosophy, and society.
