ESL 111: English Language I 3 credits Intended for students who need a systematic introduction to English grammar and writing conventions. By the end of the course, the instructor will expect students to have learned to recognize and write a coherent paragraph and a short essay. Admission to the course will be based on placement/diagnostic test scores.
