FRE 491: Directed Readings 1 - 6 credits Advanced students who have demonstrated the ability to work independently and effectively under minimal supervision have the opportunity to explore a selected cultural, linguistic or literary topic in depth. The student prepares a final project that reflects a high level of linguistic competence and analytical skills.
