POL 361: Politics Of Russia And The Former Soviet Republics 3 credits This course examines the politics, policies and post-Communist institutional arrangements within Russia and in Russia’s relations with states of the former Soviet Union. It focuses on the domestic and international factors that shape such politics, including ideology, nationalism, the military, the economy, leadership struggles, history, and the geopolitical environment.
