B.A. in Foreign Language Studies| French Major

Adelphi offers a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major or minor in French that emphasizes French culture in the world in addition to fluency in the language. Students may choose to pursue a B.A. in International Studies combined with their study of French.

French is the second most frequently taught foreign language in the world after English. Spoken on five continents, French is an official language of 28 countries. Knowledge of French provides an entrée into global careers that range from foreign affairs and trade to international marketing and tourism.
