Lixue Lin graduated from Beijing Foreign Languages Institute and has a master degree in education from City College, CUNY. Before joining the UN Chinese Language Programme, she was a Site Coordinator for SWAN Network, coordinating an After School program that focuses on the learning of Chinese language and culture. Currently she is also teaching Chinese language at Adelphi University, Long Island. She used to be a teacher and work in foreign service back in China.
