Faculty at Adelphi University take their advising responsibilities very seriously, and Math/CS faculty are no exception. Every student majoring in math or computer science is assigned a faculty advisor, who will help the student choose courses during each semester's registration period for the following semester. The faculty advisor (together with the Center for Career Development) will also help the student build a career portfolio, plan the search for jobs or graduate schools, etc.
