    The Frederick V. Pohle Colloquium in the History of Mathematics was founded in September 1998. It is hosted by the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY, 11530. The Colloquium is named in honor of our departed colleague, Fred Pohle, a former chairman of the department.
