    Programs   |    Minor in Computer Science

    Students wishing to pursue a minor in computer science should consult with the appropriate advisor in the department. Minors will be awarded only to students who maintain a grade-point average of 2.0 in all those courses taken at Adelphi fulfilling the requirements. The minor requires the following 20 credits of coursework:

    • CSC 156 Discrete Structures (3 credits)
    • CSC 171 Introduction to Computer Programming (4 credits)
    • CSC 172 Introduction to Algorithms and Data Structures (4 credits)
    • CSC 270 Survey of Programming Languages (3 credits)
    • At least two additional 3-credit CSC courses numbered 174 or higher.
