    Programs   |    Major in Mathematics

    To graduate with a degree in mathematics or computer science, majors must have a grade-point average of at least 2.0 in all mathematics and computer science courses, with at most one grade lower than a C. This applies to those courses that have been taken at Adelphi and are in fulfillment of degree requirements.

    The major in mathematics requires 46 credits of coursework:

    Students intending to go on to graduate work in mathematics are urged to take
    MTH 290-295 Mathematics Honors Seminar. This seminar is required of all students who wish to earn honors in mathematics.
