Twenty-seven credits are required for a minor in acting taken from the following courses:
- PFA 108, 109 Beginning Acting and Dramatics (3 credits each)
- PFA 111 Introduction to the Professional Theatre (2 credits)
- PFA 210, 260 Theatre History I and II (3 credits each)
- PFA 340, 360 Rudiments of Directing and Directing (2 credits and 3 credits)
- PFD 248, 298 Period Movement (2 credits each)
- PTD 103 History and Application of Theatre Technology (2 credits)
- PTD 153 Introduction to Costumes (2 credits)
In addition to the requirements listed above, all minors in acting must complete the following tech hours:
- 24 hours per semester during the first year
- 20 hours per semester during second year
- 18 hours per semester during third year.
They may audition for both acting and dance opportunities. The programs are under no obligation to cast from that audition.
