Auditions
Entrance into the dance program is by audition. Acceptance into the University does not necessarily confer acceptance into the various programs of the Department of Performing Arts.
Auditions are held in the dance studios of Woodruff Hall. Auditions are made by appointment and are held on Mondays and Thursdays throughout the school year.
Applicants are required to present a two-three minute solo. This piece need not be performed in costume, but you should bring a CD or tape for the presentation.
Ballet attire is pink or flesh colored tights for women, black tights for men, and ballet slippers. Modern attire is black, footless tights.
