MUA 210: Advanced Harmony I 3 credits This course focuses on the study of diatonic seventh chords, proceeds to secondary function and modulation, and ends with a brief primer on analysis of small forms. Examples to be studied are drawn primarily from the Western classical canon, supplemented by excerpts from popular literature.
