MUA 412: Conducting & Orchestration I 3 credits This practical course is designed to provide the student with the techniques necessary to prepare, rehearse, and perform music as a conductor of various types of musical groups, including baton technique and full-score reading. A major part of the course will be devoted to the study of orchestration.
