MUH 222: Major Composers Nineteenth & Twentieth Century 3 credits This course focuses on the study of seminal composers and their works from the Romantic era to the present beginning with Beethoven and leading to the close examination of contemporary issues faced by current composers. Composers and their works will be studied within the context of a socio-historical framework.
