MUH 240: Rock N' Roll: A Social Histor 3 credits This course studies the rise of rock music, its pervasive infiltration of many aspects of contemporary society, and its effects on the creation of “serious” music. Students will learn how to listen actively to music and talk about it using appropriate vocabulary. Course work will rely heavily on listening examples.
