Overview
Building on a commitment to academic excellence and its role as a premiere cultural resource for area communities, Adelphi is proud to be investing in a new 53,000 square-foot Performing Arts Center — including an upgrade of Adelphi's Olmsted Theatre, and a new 500-seat Concert Hall.

The new Center, which brings Adelphi's noted theatre, dance, and music departments together under one roof, will include needed rehearsal and classroom space, and five intimate and state-of-the-art performance spaces, as described below.

Programming in the new Center will focus around productions and performances by Adelphi's outstanding performing arts students, and will be supplemented by a roster of performances by artists of international repute.
