POL 101: Introduction To The American Political System 3 credits This course is a study of the political structures and processes that affect the scope and content of American Politics. It examines the constitutional system, federalism, institutions (executive, legislative and judicial), parties, interest groups, public opinion, campaigns, elections, and civil rights and liberties.
