POL 305: Race And Politics 3 credits Historically, political regimes have organized societies using race as a basis for public policy (i.e. slavery, apartheid, genocide). This course concentrates primarily on policy influenced by race and ethnicity in the United States and emphasizes certain themes in comparative perspective: identity politics, immigration and citizenship, eugenics, and reparations.
