POL 345: Feminist Theory 3 credits This course explores the meanings of feminism, the oppression of women, and the construction of femininity and masculinity. The readings will include historical material and selections from all three "waves" of feminism, but will concentrate on work since 1950. It includes topics like family, work, sexual identity, and race.
