SOC 125: The Material Family 3 credits This course involves multimedia projects in which students carry out a sociologically based analysis of family pictures, artifacts, records and interviews. The research topics include: oral histories; ancestry research; analysis of family dwelling and possessions; identity and traditions; structure and leisure activities; and values in education and religion.
