SOC 241: Gender: Roles And Identities 3 credits This course examines the roles of American men and women as participants in family, work, and sexual institutions against a background of historical and cross-cultural surveys of gender roles; innate differences between the sexes; and the desirability of various proposals for realizing the full potentialities of both sexes.
