SOC 249: Italian-American Experience 3 credits This course is a sociological analysis of the basic socio-political-historic roots of the Italian-American experience. It will be an in-depth study of the culture and institutions (family, religion, politics, education) of the Italians in Italy and the changes that resulted in those who immigrated to America.
