SOC 275: Media Images Of Italian- American 3 credits The manner in which Italian-Americans have been perceived by the American society has been, to a large extent, created and perpetuated by the mass media portrayal of this ethnic group. This course will analyze the socio-historical development of the media portrayal of the Italians in America.
