Student Success Scholarship
The annual Student Success Scholarship for Undergraduate Studies acknowledges the exceptional achievement of undergraduates in their junior or senior year.
Eligibility
To be eligible, students must:
- be full-time matriculated sophomores and juniors who have completed at least 30 credits at Adelphi
- have earned a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 in courses taken at Adelphi
- have no other Adelphi University scholarship.
Students will be contacted by the Office of Academic Services and Retention if they are eligble for this award.
American Association of University Women
The Annual Award of Merit is given each year by the American Association of University Women (AAUW) to graduating seniors in recognition of their academic achievement and leadership abilities. The Office of Academic Services and Retention requests nominations from faculty and administrators from which they will select one senior to receive this $500 award.
Nominations are submitted in the spring semester. The recipient must graduate in the academic year in which the award is given. The award is presented in May at the Student Awards Dinner sponsored by the Center for Student Involvement.
