Dr. Louis Terracio
"Tissue Engineering Cardiac Muscle: Lessons Learned from Structure, Microgravity and Life."
Dr. Terracio is Associate Dean for Research, Professor in the Department of Basic Science and Craniofacial Biology and Professor of Pediatrics at New York University School of Medicine. His lab is one of the first to tissue engineer a skeletal muscle construct that has structure and function similar to intact muscle.
