Student Exchange Programs

Adelphi has several reciprocal exchange agreements with partner universities, and more are being planned.

These student exchange programs allow you to attend courses with local students at the host university and fully integrate into the host country's culture; at the same time Adelphi receives students from partner university on our campus.

Students who participate in an exchange program should expect to be more self-reliant and independent. 

Nursing Exchange with Jinan University - China

In conjunction with Jinan [Chi-Nan] University in Guangzhou, China, Adelphi University nursing students have the opportunity to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture, and moxibustion during the winter intersession.  Students will register for a three credit elective course which is counted as part of their spring semester load (students will be charged per credit if they exceed the 17 credit tuition limit for the spring semester).  The course is taught in English so no Chinese language command is required.

The estimated cost of the program is $2700 and includes a round-trip flight, on-campus double room, meals, transportation between airport and campus and local excursions. The application deadline is October 15, 2012.  Fill out and return the Study Abroad Application with a $300 non-refundable deposit to the Center for International Education, Alumnae Hall 111.
