Adelphi University, in conjunction with ELS Language Centers, offers one of the most comprehensive English as a Second Language programs in the country. ELS Language Centers, a division of Berlitz International, provides quality intensive English instruction to students, visitors and business and government personnel who wish to learn English thoroughly and quickly. Hundreds of ELS graduates have gone on to enroll as full-time matriculating students at Adelphi University.

Enrolling at ELS Language Centers offers students diverse academic and social opportunities. Students live in Adelphi residence halls, make use the university libraries, computer facilities, all recreational facilities and experience life at the university.
