Adelphi University is pleased to partner with ELS Language Centers, one of the world's largest English Language Schools, to offer intensive English classes.

ELS offers both an Intensive English Program (Thirty, 50-minute lessons per week for 4 weeks) and a Semi-Intensive English Program (Twenty, 50-minute lessons per week for 4 weeks).

Both programs offer:

  • 12 levels of instruction from beginning to masters
  • 4 week course length per level
  • Small classes
  • Homestay Program so you can live and practice your English with an American host

Adelphi University waives the TOEFL requirement for academically qualified students who complete level 112 in the Intensive program at ELS Language Centers.
