Costs

Duomo
Santa Maria del Fiore
Piazza Duomo
The cost of Adelphi in Florence will be approximately $5,200. The final cost will be determined early 2007, after airfares and accommodations are arranged, based on the Euro-to-U.S. dollar exchange rate at that time.

The cost includes:
  • all tuition and instruction
  • airfare
  • transportation to and from the airport
  • hotel accommodations
  • excursions in Tuscany and Rome and other field trips
  • entrance fees to museums and galleries
  • guest lectures, special classes, and concerts
  • breakfast daily.

Students will be responsible for textbooks, most lunches and dinners, and personal expenses including souvenirs, laundry, telephone calls, Internet use, and optional weekend trips to Venice and Rome.

The cost is competitive with many one-month study abroad courses. Per academic credit, it is on par with the cost of Adelphi summer courses, with reasonable additions for the costs of travel and accommodations. A detailed budget will be made available to students as soon as travel arrangements are set and the exchange rate is known.

Financial aid is available to Adelphi students. The same criteria for eligibility for on-campus academic programs apply to Adelphi in Florence as well. See the Factsheet for complete details.
