The Adelphi School of Nursing is dedicated to providing students with the skills, knowledge, and specialized training to succeed as qualified caregivers and leaders in the nursing profession. The School offers Bachelor of Science degrees, Master of Science degrees, Post-Master's Certificate programs, and Doctoral Program, and supports continuing education through its Professional Development and Lifelong Learning programs.
The course of study combines theory, research, clinical practice, and community service. Adelphi's extensive school and community partnerships provide extensive opportunities to gain field work experience. Admission requirements vary according to program. Different courses of study accommodate students who are registered nurses seeking a degree or those who are working toward both a degree and certification. Transfer applicants are accepted.
Registered nurses with an associate's degree or diploma can earn a Bachelor of Science in nursing and can enroll in ASCEND, the R.N. to B.S program which gives them the have the option of taking courses one-day per week.
