How to Access Online Resources |
Once you have successfully enrolled as an Adelphi Online Distance Learning Student, you will be able to access all the tools you need to fully participate in your class.*
eCampus
The Adelphi eCampus portal integrates the programs and applications that you'll use every day. With a single sign-on in eCampus, you can access your AU Gmail, Moodle, C.L.A.S.S., and more.
To log in for the first time, go to the password reset page so that you can create a unique password that you will remember: Go to https://class.adelphi.edu/paw/reset.php.
Your username is usually your firstnamelastname (no space in between).
Once you have created a new universal password, log in at http://ecampus.adelphi.edu/.
When your login is successful, you will see the My eCampus homepage, and can access secure Adelphi services and applications.
Please Note: If you have tried to reset your password and still experience problems logging in to eCampus, C.L.A.S.S., AU Gmail, or Moodle please call 516.877.3340 or email helpdesk@adelphi.edu.

Adelphi email (AU Gmail)
Official university communications are sent to your AU Gmail account. Note: You can only access your AU Gmail through eCampus (see above); you cannot go to Google or Gmail’s standard login page.
Your Adelphi email address will be your firstnamelastname@mail.adelphi.edu.
For information about your new AU Gmail account and all of its features, go to our Gmail Support page.

Course Registration
Check your status in the C.L.A.S.S. system to ensure that you are successfully registered in your course(s). You will enter this system by clicking on Adelphi eCampus portal. (See eCampus entry above for instructions.)

Moodle
Once your registration status has been confirmed you should log in to Moodle to see if your instructor has posted any essential course information. For Distance Learning Students, the Moodle course management system will likely be the main source of announcements, course information posting, and class participation. Features of your Moodle course site include Discussion Forums, Resources, Course Calendar, Grades, Assignments, Surveys, Quizzes, Chats, Wikis, and Blogs. It is up to your instructor to utilize these tools as much or as little as they desire.
When you log in to Moodle, on the left hand side you will see tutorials available on the left hand side. Please give yourself ample time before the course begins to become familiar with this online learning system.

My Textbooks
On eCampus, go to Services and launch My Textbooks. If your course shows up, click Buy Books Online to see the list of books for your course(s). The required and suggested (if any) books will be listed. You can purchase the books online or you can go to the Adelphi University bookstore on the Garden City Campus. Used books are sometimes available.

Academic Calendar
Please check the Academic Calendar to ensure that you begin class on the required date.

Library Services
You will have access to secure library services. Access is offered to a comprehensive variety of resources and collections that support Adelphi’s curriculum and information needs.
