Adelphi University Summer Sessions give you the opportunity to get a head start on the academic year, earn additional credits, or explore new fields. Summer Session courses are open to both current Adelphi students and non-Adelphi students.

Excellence, Flexibility, and Convenience

At Adelphi’s Summer Sessions you can:

  • experience classes and workshops in a university setting
  • earn extra credits or catch up on required course work
  • get a head start toward an associate’s, bachelor’s, or graduate degree. 

*Please note: Selected Summer Sessions classes and workshops run on variable schedules. Some courses in nursing and social work run for 10 weeks. Summer Arts Experience workshops are scheduled throughout the two sessions.

The registration limit is 6 credits per Summer Session. Students can complete a total of 12 credits if participating in both Summer Sessions I and II.
