Q: What is the Summer Arts Experience?
A: The Summer Arts Experience is a series of classes and workshops in music, dance, theater, art, creative writing, art for educators, and graphic design. The Arts Experience is open to students of various skill levels, from high school students to graduate students. Classes and workshops are offered both for credit and as non-credit workshops.

Q: When are Adelphi University's Summer Session courses offered?
A: Adelphi University offers two Summer Sessions. Summer Session I classes begin on May 27 and end on June 30. Summer Session II classes begin on July 7 and end on August 10. Many academic classes and many workshops in the Summer Arts Experience may not run for the duration of the two Summer Sessions. Please consult Course Search for additional scheduling information.

Q: Who can attend Summer Session classes?
A: Summer Session courses are open to currently enrolled Adelphi students, matriculated undergraduates from other colleges and universities, and high school graduates. Registration in graduate courses is open, in general, to students possessing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, although certain exclusions apply.

The Summer Arts Experience is open to students of various skill levels, from high school students to graduate students.

Q: How many classes can I take during Summer Session?
A: The registration limit is 6 credits per Summer Session. Students can complete a total of 12 credits if participating in both Summer Sessions I and II.

A: You may register for classes either in person or by mail. You may download the Summer Registration Form (PDF 28KB) or register in person at the
