Previously, Adelphi has been named a Best College in the Northeast Region in the 2006 Princeton Review of Higher Education.

Typical bachelor's degree holders earn over $800,000 more than typical high school diploma holders over their lifetimes
According to a 2007 study done by the College Board, average bachelor's degree holders will earn more than $800,000 more than average high school diploma holders over the course of their lifetimes. In addition, the study finds that the average adult over the age of 25 makes nearly $14,000 more per year than the average adult who has completed some college courses but not their bachelor's degree and nearly $20,000 more a year than those adults who hold only a high school diploma. Additionally, the study finds that bachelor's degree holders are 16% more likely to be employed by companies that offer pension plans, and nearly 20% more likely to be employed by companies that offer health insurance benefits than their counterparts that hold only a high school diploma. The full text of the study can be found here.
