New York State Teacher Certification Exam Review Course
This course prepare sparticipants for the NYSTCE Multi-Subject Content Specialty Test. it provides the participant with in-depth analysis of the various subareas covered on the exam such as English Language Arts, Math, Science and Technology, Social Studies, The Fine Arts, Health and Fitness, Family Consumer Science and Career Development, and Foundations of Reading Constructed Response Assignments. This course offers two full length exams. A pre-test will be given at the first session of the course to assess strengths and weaknesses, as well as a post-test to measure growth and skills learned during the course.
Each subarea will have seven hours of instruction broken up into two 3 1/2 hour sessions or 56 total hours of instruction for the entire course. The course schedule will be one weeknight and one weekend day for eight weeks.

LSAT Preparation
The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is used by most law schools to help determine the acceptability of applicants. The test is intended to provide a standard measure of reading and verbal reasoning skills that law schools can use as one of several factors in determining applicant viability. This course helps you prepare for the major components of the exam including the writing sample. Students will learn about the logical reasoning, reading comprehension and analytical reasoning sections, how those sections are scored, and practice on example questions from those sections. Students will also learn about the writing sample section and will learn how to write a logical argument that is this basis of the writing sample. Test taking tips and techniques will be covered to help you understand the best methods for scoring well. In addition, student will take mock exams and exam components to help them better understand the structure of the test. The course is taught by experienced exam professionals, in small classes, to help you best prepare for the exam.

GED Preparation
The General Educational Development Test (GED) is a test that certifies the taker has attained high school-level academic skills. The GED test is taken by individuals who did not obtain a high school diploma and is often used as a diploma equivalent in college applications. This course is an exam preparation course, not a high school equivalency program. The course is meant for adult students who are preparing to take the GED exam. High-school aged students cannot be enrolled in the course.
This preparation course will cover all of the exam’s main topic areas including writing, social studies, reading and mathematics. Students will review all of the basic topics in each section and will be given practice work to help them review skills and knowledge. The course includes 32 hours of instruction and can be retaken (at an additional fee) if the student still needs more time to prepare. Test taking tips and techniques will be covered to help you understand the best methods for scoring well. In addition, student will take mock exams and exam components to help them better understand the structure of the test. The course is taught by experienced exam professionals, in small classes, to help you best prepare for the exam.
